Sprint Training

Xtreme Xplosion offers sprint training, not only for those who are serious about running, but also for those who would like to increase their speed and endurance for their particular sport. Running track helps develop the fast and slow-twitch muscles, hence, contributing to one's speed, strength, and endurance. Because track is an individual sport, the athlete is challenged to rely on oneself to accomplish their personal best. This, in turn, develops the athlete's self esteem and confidence in their abilities. Whether you play football, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, etc., speed is the vehicle that will get you to the next level.
This year, Xtreme Xplosion is teaming up with George Mason Head Women'sTrack & Field Coach, Angie Taylor, to bring you "19 Days of Running". This is a program for athletes that want to enhance their speed and for those who are still competing in summer track meets. It is a 5-week program that includes a sound training program guaranteed to improve your running ability. With informative sessions covering speed, plyometrics, endurance, and how to maximize your potential, this program provides one-on -one coaching to bring out the best in each participant. |
